It has been helpful to me to first assess what you want the space to be used for. Form means nothing without function, and that function could be as simple as "enjoyment through viewing". Being that I am growing in my understanding of sustainability and homesteading, this project gets me back to my roots. No pun intended. I have not done a cost/savings ratio on rain barrels, however the idea is ingenious.
